Die Tage, die N\u00e4chte, die Wochen, die Wochenenden, die Samstage und die Sonntage. Und im Bett endet auch alles. Die Tage, die N\u00e4chte, die Wochen… Ganz gleich, was w\u00e4hrend des Tages geschehen ist, Abenteuer oder Unvorhergesehenes, alle Tage unseres Lebens haben einen gemeinsamen Nenner: dieses so diskrete, horizontale M\u00f6bel, dem wir in unserem Zuhause ein eigenes Zimmer widmen.
\nDas Bett, mein Bett, unser Bett. Im Bett kann man allein sein oder in Begleitung, man kann m\u00fcde, gl\u00fccklich, faul sein und sogar fr\u00fchst\u00fccken. Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Bett. Ja. Immer. Es gibt Betten, die wir auf der Reise unseres Lebens gelegentlich nutzen: Etagenbetten in Camps und Jugendherbergen, Motelbetten und Betten in Luxushotels, Sitze, die auf Transozeanfl\u00fcgen als Bett dienen m\u00fcssen oder Autos, die wir bei einem Unwetter, einem unerwarteten Ereignis oder aus irgendeinem anderen Grund als Schlafst\u00e4tte nutzen. Aber immer wieder kehren wir in das Bett zur\u00fcck, dass wir gew\u00e4hlt haben, das eigene Bett, das Bett zuhause. In unser wirkliches Bett.<\/p>\n

Man kann die Matratzen oder die Kopfkissen wechseln. Die Bettw\u00e4sche im Winter kann anders sein als die im Sommer. Man kann die kalte oder die warme Seite w\u00e4hlen, auf dem R\u00fccken oder der Seite schlafen, mit geschlossenen oder offenen Vorh\u00e4ngen. Aber das Bett bleibt. Zuhause ist der Ort, an dem Sie alle Ihre B\u00fccher aufbewahren. Zuhause ist auch der Ort, an dem Ihr Bett lebt. Im Bett wird viel gelesen, um dann davon zu tr\u00e4umen. Aber man kann auch tr\u00e4umen, ohne ein Buch aufzuschlagen, denn das Bett kennt da keinen Unterschied.
\nGroucho Marx schrieb ein ganzes Buch, zwar ein d\u00fcnnes, aber trotzdem ein Buch, \u00fcber Betten.
