Un mouvement ouvrier appel\u00e9 chartisme s\u2019y d\u00e9veloppa au XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle et il se dit que c\u2019est au Crown Tavern, pub qui borde Clerkenwell Green, que L\u00e9nine et Staline se rencontr\u00e8rent en 1905\u2026 Depuis, les distilleries et les imprimeries ont laiss\u00e9 place \u00e0 des agences de communication et de nombreux bureaux d\u2019architectures. Leur pr\u00e9sence coupl\u00e9e \u00e0 celle de nombreuses boutiques de d\u00e9coration font de Clerkenwell l’un des hauts lieux du design du Royaume Uni. Voire du monde entier.<\/p>\n

La Clerkenwell Design Week est un \u00e9v\u00e9nement d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 cette communaut\u00e9 internationale du design qui pendant 3 jours se donne rendez-vous dans des lieux originaux et des showrooms styl\u00e9s. Ce m\u00e9lange d’installations, d’art de rue, de musique et de f\u00eate fait de ces rencontres un festival passionnant et une date incontournable pour les professionnels du monde entier.<\/p>\n

Treku y a particip\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e; une premi\u00e8re fois rendue possible gr\u00e2ce au collectif Basque Living London et son showroom r\u00e9cemment ouvert \u00e0 Londres.<\/p>\n

Basque Living London est l\u2019union de 8 entreprises du Pays Basque Sud, toutes manufacturi\u00e8res et sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans le mobilier. Elles sont \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un showroom inspirant o\u00f9 des solutions sur mesure sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des professionnels. Cet environnement collaboratif offre \u00e0 chaque entreprise une excellente opportunit\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement et de partenariat autour de beaux projets.<\/p>\n

Le showroom a lors de cette \u00e9dition du Clerkenwell Design Week, propos\u00e9 de nombreux \u00e9v\u00e9nements pour permettre \u00e0 toutes les entreprises la pr\u00e9sentation de leurs produits et la possibilit\u00e9 de communiquer une culture commune.<\/p>\n

Treku a eu le plaisir de collaborer avec Riya Patel, \u00e9crivain et acteur reconnu du monde du design.
